Arizona residents can wager through the TVG website and iOS app beginning on September 9th.
The state of Arizona does not allow wagering on harness racing, and currently do not import signals from Monarch affiliated tracks for wagering, which currently include the following tracks:
Latin American Racing (LARC)
Lone Star Park
Los Alamitos (Thoroughbred "Day" Meetings)
Melbourne Racing Club
Sonoma County Fair
Arizona residents are only able to wager on tracks offered by Turf Paradise.
Arizona residents may not wager on Swedish tracks.
Arizona residents may not cancel Win wagers $300 or over. Win wagers $299 and below may be canceled online or by contacting TVG customer service. All other wager types are subject to TVG's standard wager cancellation policies.
California residents are required to enable location services in order to wager on a mobile device. For assistance configuring location services, please see the relevant instructions for your device on our Location Services page.
The state of Illinois collects a 0.38% surcharge on winnings wagers. This is charged on the "Raw Price," which is the "raw" split of the pool, rounded to an appropriate amount. The amount the state takes is rounded up, so if the "raw price" of the Win pool is $5.50, you would receive $5.30 or $5.35.
As of July 9th, 2017 the Illinois personal income tax rate is 4.95%. Any wager which results in proceeds of more than $5,000.00, is subject to reporting and withholding if the amount of such proceeds is at least 300 times as large as the amount wagered.
Horse Racing and Greyhound Racing from Great Britain and Ireland are currently unavailable on the TVG website for Illinois customers due to issues beyond our control.
Iowa residents must use the Prairie Meadows version of TVG's website, available at https://ia.tvg.com.
Iowa residents are not permitted to wager on any tracks owned by Churchill Downs Incorporated, which includes the following: Arlington Park, Batavia, Buffalo, Calder, Churchill Downs, Fairgrounds, Finger Lakes, Monticello, Oaklawn, Tioga, Vernon, Canterbury Park, Hoosier Park, Indiana Grand Race Course, Miami Valley, Oaklawn Park, Ocean Downs, Turfway Park, and The Meadows. Please be advised, this means Iowa residents are NOT able to wager on the Kentucky Derby.
Additionally, Iowa residents are restricted from wagering on international tracks.
Iowa residents are able to make cash deposits to their TVG accounts at Prairie Meadows. During live racing, deposits may be made at the south entrance. At all other times, deposits may be made at the racing kiosk on the 4th floor. This location should be open whenever the track is open for simulcasting. Please be advised, this is for deposit only, not withdrawal. We always recommend customers contact the host track to confirm hours of operation. You can do so by calling (515) 967-1000.
The state of Iowa withholds 5% from wagers winnings more than $1,000 at odds of 300:1 or greater.
Maryland residents are not able to wager on Arabian races.
Massachusetts has instituted a 5% tax withholding on winnings of $600 or more. This is independent of and in addition to the federal IRS tax reporting and withholding.
Minnesota residents are not permitted to wager on tracks within the state, including Canterbury Park and Running Aces.
Minnesota residents are subject to Federal and State income tax withholding's from winnings if both of the following apply:
- The payoff of winnings exceeds $5,000 after deducting the amount of the bet.
- The payoff is at least 300 times the amount of the bet.
New Jersey residents must use the 4NJBets mobile products and website, available at https://4njbets.us.betfair.com. Mobile customers with iOS devices should download the 4NJBets iOS app. You may also wager and deposit via our automated telephone wagering system, available at 1-888-465-2387.
New Jersey residents are not able to wager on races from France. Additionally, you are not able to wager on Latin American Racing Channel (LARC) simulcast races, which are sometimes offered through Gulfstream Park.
Wagers placed through the track at Meadowlands and Monmouth Park using your OneWallet card do not earn wager reward points.
New Jersey residents are not able to deposit via GreenDot MoneyPak.

New Jersey residents are not permitted to cancel wagers larger than $500. Wager cancellations are also limited to $5,000 per day and $15,000 per month.

New Mexico residents are not allowed to wager on tracks within the state, including Ruidoso Downs, Sunland Park, Zia Park, Downs at Albuquerque, and SunRay Park.
New York residents are not permitted to wager on Easter or Christmas.
New York residents will not be able to make online cancellations of Win, Place, or Show wagers with a base of $500, or exotic wagers with a base over $50. You may request to cancel such wagers by contacting TVG customer service.
TVG is the Advanced Deposit Wagering (ADW) operator for Harrah's Chester. Pennsylvania residents are only able to wager on tracks offered by Harrah's Chester. You will not be able to wager on Quarter Horses, Arabians, Appaloosas, Mixed Race, or races listed as "Other". You will not be able to wager on Los Alamitos or Remington Park. You will not be able to wager on racing from France, Great Britain, Ireland, South Africa, Sweden, or Japan. You are able to wager on racing from Australia.
We are not able to offer our Wager Rewards program to Pennsylvania residents.
Our Automated Telephone Wagering System is not available to Pennsylvania residents.
Virginia does not allow residents to cancel wagers greater than $250.
